Xi Mingze faces call to be deported from US!

Laura Loomer, a far-right conservative commentator, is calling for the deportation of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s daughter.
In 2014, Xi Mingze, the daughter of Xi Jinping, earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Harvard University.According to Loomer, Xi Mingze is still a foreign student living in Massachusetts.
However, there is no proof that she is still in the United States that is accessible to the public. According to a 2015 New Yorker article, Xi Mingze went to China after graduating from Harvard University and has remained quiet ever since.
“DEPORT XI JINPING’S DAUGHTER!” In a post to X, formerly Twitter, Loomer stated.
“She attended Harvard and resides in Massachusetts! According to my sources, she is privately protected in Massachusetts by PLA guards from the CCP.
President Donald Trump was among the prominent members of the present U.S. administration that Loomer tagged. She did not identify her sources or offer proof for these assertions.
For comment, Newsweek has reached out to Loomer, the Chinese Embassy in Washington, DC, and Harvard University.
The Significance Of It?
In a high-stakes legal battle over immigration laws and university autonomy, Harvard University is facing off against the Trump administration. In addition to accusing Harvard of supporting antisemitism and working with the Chinese Communist Party, the Trump administration has banned Harvard University from accepting overseas students.
About 20% of Harvard’s international student body was made up of Chinese nationals.
Things You Should Know?
Loomer asked her followers to spread the word about the topic on social media. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, border czar Tom Homan, and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem were among the prominent administration individuals she tagged in her tweet.
Loomer’s claims follow Rubio’s announcement that the United States will start canceling Chinese students’ visas, even though there is no publicly accessible proof that Xi Mingze is currently residing in the country.
“The US will begin revoking visas of Chinese students, including those with connections to the Chinese Communist Party or studying in critical fields,” he stated on X.
In contrast to 41% of Ph.D. graduates from South Korea, 92% of Chinese students who obtain a Ph.D. in the US stay in the nation for five years after graduation, according to a National Science Foundation research.
Senator Eric Schmitt introduced the Protecting Higher Education from the Chinese Communist Party Act, which aims to prevent Chinese Communist Party members and their family members from obtaining student visas to attend American universities, as part of Republican efforts to limit certain students’ access to higher education in the United States.
China has encouraged the United States to defend the rights of international students and stated that there should be no disruptions to education.
At a press conference on May 28, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated that China “upholds that normal education cooperation and academic exchanges should not be disrupted.”
“We urge the U.S. to effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of all international students, including Chinese students overseas,” she stated.
Who is the daughter of Xi Mingze?

Chinese President Xi Jinping and folk singer Peng Liyuan are the parents of Xi Mingze, who was born in 1992. She kept a secret existence and disclosed very little information about herself while attending Harvard University to study psychology under a false identity. She occasionally makes public appearances with her parents. After the 2008 Sichuan earthquake, she began volunteering at the age of sixteen.
The Trump administration is now paying more attention to Harvard University visa holders, not only students. In order to evaluate any possible security or procedural problems, the State Department intends to perform a thorough examination of the student, business, tourist, and other visa categories connected to Harvard.
This comes after the Department of Homeland Security recently attempted to cancel Harvard’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) certification, which allows the university to accept overseas students. Since then, a federal judge has blocked the policy’s implementation with a temporary restraining order.
Additionally, Rubio has suspended all student visa appointments at American embassies and consulates while his department conducts a review of its screening protocols.
Harvard University recently lost about $3 million in funds from the Department of Homeland Security because the university did not follow a set of suggested reforms. These included implementing a ban on face masks, updating student disciplinary processes, and discontinuing its diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) programs.
“Trump’s decision to suspend student visa interviews threatens nearly $44 billion in economic contributions and over 370,000 jobs across the United States, according to NAFSA,” Aaron Reichlin-Melnick, senior fellow at the American Immigration Council, previously wrote on X. The economic effects of the United States ceasing to accept international students would be disastrous.
