Trump Warned Israel Not to Kill Iran Supreme Leader.

Three US officials have told CBS News, which is a partner of the BBC in the United States, that President Donald Trump of the United States has rejected a plan by Israel to kill Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran.

There is a story that President Trump told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the concept of assassinating Khamenei was “not a good idea.”

This information comes from an official. There has been no public statement made by the president regarding the findings.

According to reports, the chat took place after Israel went forward with its attack on Iran on Friday.

In an interview with Fox News, Netanyahu did not immediately confirm or refute a claim from Reuters that Trump had vetoed a plan to murder the ayatollah.

The report stated that Trump had given his approval to the proposal.

“There are a great number of fabricated reports of conversations that never took place, and I’m not going to get into that,” the Prime Minister of Israel stated.

I can tell you, however, that I believe we are doing what we need to do.

We are going to do what needs to be done, and I believe that the United States of America is aware of what is beneficial for the United States of America; but, I am not going to get into that.

CBS News was informed by an Israeli official that Israel does not “in principle” kill political leaders. The person stated that Israel is primarily concerned with nuclear and military matters.

I don’t believe that someone who is in charge of making decisions regarding those programs ought to be living a carefree life.

On Friday, Israel was the first country to launch an attack against Iranian nuclear infrastructure and other terrorist targets.  Since then, the two nations have continued to unleash tremendous attacks against one another, and on Sunday, the attacks entered their third day of being carried out.

Trump made the following statement in his most recent post on Truth Social regarding the deteriorating situation in the Middle East: “Iran and Israel should make a deal.”

He went on to say that he would get the two countries to end their hostilities “just like I got India and Pakistan.”

This statement was in reference to the recent conflict that occurred between the two countries.

Before leaving for the G7 summit in Canada, President Trump made a statement to reporters in which he stated that the United States would continue to back Israel.

However, he declined to disclose whether or not he had requested the country to stop its strikes on Iran.

The next round of nuclear discussions between the United States and Iran was supposed to take place on Sunday, but the mediator, Badr Albusaidi, the foreign minister of Oman, stated the day before that they had been canceled.

An individual who was informed on the conversations told the Reuters news agency on Sunday that Iran had communicated to Qatar and Oman that it was not willing to negotiate a truce while it was still being attacked by Israel.

According to statements made by Trump on Saturday, the United States “had nothing to do with the attack on Iran.”

“If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before,” he expressed concern.
