NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TODD AND JULIE CHRISLEY!
American reality television series Chrisley Knows Best was broadcast on the USA Network from March 11, 2014, to March 27, 2023. It centres on the lifestyles of Todd Chrisley, a real estate magnate, and his affluent family. The programme was initially filmed in the Atlanta suburbs of Roswell and Alpharetta before relocating to Nashville for the fourth season. In 2019, Growing Up Chrisley, a spin-off that centres on Chase and Savannah Chrisley, was released.
Chrisley Knows Best, a reality television series, portrayed the careers of Todd and Julie Chrisley as property tycoons in Nashville and Atlanta.
However, in June 2022, a jury found them culpable of tax evasion and defrauding banks of over $36 million (£26.6 million) in loans.
Savannah Chrisley, the daughter of the couple, was interviewed by Lara Trump, the president’s daughter-in-law, on Fox News earlier this month.
In 2019, Todd and Julie Chrisley were initially indicted. Three years later, they were subjected to a three-week trial on charges of obstruction of justice, tax evasion, and fraud.
Prosecutors claimed that they submitted fraudulent documents to community banks, subsequently spending the funds on luxury vehicles, designer clothing, real estate, and travel. They then used new fraudulent loans to repay the old ones.
Todd Chrisley filed for bankruptcy subsequent to his expenditure of the funds. prosecutors alleged in 2022 that the couple subsequently employed a company to conceal their income from their TV programme and evade a $500,000 tax bill.
After a three-week trial, the couple was convicted, despite blaming a former employee.
Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie Chrisley was sentenced to seven years. Peter Tarantino, their accountant, was also found guilty and sentenced to three years in prison.
Trump was depicted conversing with the Chrisley children via telephone in a video that White House aide Margo Martin posted online.
“I hope that we can achieve this by tomorrow, and your parents will be free and unharmed,” the president stated. “I do not know them, but I extend my warmest regards and hope they lead a fulfilling life.”
Savannah Chrisley is a social media influencer and podcaster who has also appeared on numerous reality shows and campaigned for Trump. She delivered a speech at the 2024 Republican National Convention during which she claimed that her parents had been persecuted by “rogue prosecutors” and that the United States has a “two-faced justice system.”

Lara Trump was identified as a prison reform advocate during her Fox News programme, My View, which aired on May 18. She asserted that her parents had been prosecuted for their political beliefs and compared their situation to the criminal charges brought against President Trump.
Ms. Chrisley informed Lara Trump that both prosecutors were Democrats and had contributed to Democratic candidates. “We were aware that the outcome was irrevocable during the trial.”
Starting in 2014, Chrisley Knows Best was broadcast on the USA Network and served as the precursor to numerous spinoffs, including Growing Up Chrisley and According to Chrisley.
It is the second pardon that Trump has announced within the past two days. A former Virginia sheriff who was convicted of fraud and bribery was granted a pardon on Monday.
Last December, a jury found former Culpeper County Sheriff Scott Jenkins guilty of accepting over $75,000 (£55,000) in gratuities in exchange for converting several businessmen into law enforcement officers without providing them with any training.
A long-standing supporter of Trump, Jenkins was sentenced to ten years in prison in March.
