INTRODUCTION OF The CHI SEASON 7
The seventh season of The Chi follows Alicia (Lynn Whitfield) and the women of Chicago’s South Side attempting to protect their city. “When Douda (Curtiss Cook) falls from the throne, the pivotal women of The Chi rise to reclaim their power. As loyalties are tested and new rivalries are stoked, it becomes clear that there’s only one crown, and it will come at a heavy cost,” the official synopsis reads.
In addition to Whitfield, the returning cast for the next chapter includes Jacob Latimore as Emmett Washington, Yolonda Ross as Jada, Washington Shamon Brown Jr. as Stanley “Papa” Jackson, Michael V. Epps as Jake Taylor, Birgundi Baker as Kiesha Williams and Luke James as Victor “Trig” Taylor.
This season also includes several exciting guest appearances, including Tony winner Phylicia Rashad, NAACP Image Award winner Wendy Raquel Robinson, and Emmy winner Karrueche Tran. Other guest stars include La La Anthony, Rolando Boyce, Judae’a Brown, Kandi Burruss, and many more.

When and where can you watch ‘The Chi’ Season 7?
The first episode of The Chi Season 7 premiered on Paramount+ with Showtime on Friday, May 16, and will air on Showtime on Sunday, May 18. New episodes will drop every Friday on streaming and every Sunday on linear until the Season 7 finale, expected to air in mid-August.
