Starbucks fires off new red, white and blue Firework Frappuccino.
Starbucks has come out with a new Frappuccino that’s great for summer, but you’ll have to hurry if you want to try it.
On Monday, the coffee chain sent out a press release to let people know about its new Firework Frappuccino Blended Beverage. Starbucks says that the limited-edition drink “captures the excitement” of the Fourth of July, which is this Friday in the U.S., “in every sip.” Starbucks’ Summer Berry Refresher, which has raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry flavors, is the main flavor in the Firework Frappuccino. The brand’s raspberry pearls are on top of it, and it is mixed with creamy coconut milk.
A swirl of strawberry puree and vanilla sweet cream cold foam on top of the drink makes the red, white, and blue colors that are so popular on Independence Day. The new frappuccino from Starbucks will be in stores in the U.S. starting tomorrow, July 1. But it will only be available until July 7, or until they run out. In July, there will be more new Frappuccinos, like the Salted Caramel Mocha, Strawberry Matcha, and Brown Sugar Frappuccinos. All of these drinks come with cold foam on top.

In May, the company said it would be changing its summer menu, adding a new iced espresso drink for coffee lovers. The Iced Horchata Oat Milk Shaken Espresso is based on the popular Latin American drink. The drink has oat milk, horchata-flavored syrup, and Starbucks Blonde Espresso in it.
The company just came out with the Summer Berry Refresher, which is a fruity mix poured over raspberry-flavored pearls. Ordering a Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher or a Summer Skies Drink with coconut milk lets customers enjoy the berry drink with lemonade.
Starbucks is also selling a Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop, which is a strawberry cream cake mixed with buttercream and shaped like a strawberry. The cake pop is dipped in chocolate icing and then decorated to look like a ripe red strawberry.
The chain wants to join the protein trend with its new Banana Protein Cold Foam. After Starbucks said it would take 13 drinks off its menu, the new items came out. On March 4, the changes went into effect.
Starbucks reveals its summer menu for 2025:

Summer is almost here, and Starbucks is celebrating with a summer menu that includes new drinks and old favorites. Starting on Tuesday, May 20, the menu will include a new Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, the return of the popular Summer-Berry Starbucks Refreshers, and a new Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop.
Starbucks says that the Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is made with their Blonde Espresso, oatmilk, and a horchata-flavored syrup that tastes like rice milk with cinnamon, sweet vanilla, and subtle nutty notes. Starbucks said in a news release, “Horchata recipes vary from region to region, but it is usually made with non-dairy milk and flavored and sweetened with spices, extracts, and other ingredients. This is because each culture that made it has its own tastes and traditions.”

The Summer-Berry Refreshers are back after first being released in 2024. The drinks are made by shaking raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry flavors with ice and water, then pouring them over raspberry-flavored pearls. You can get the Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher with lemonade or the Summer Skies Drink with coconut milk. This summer, the drinks will only be available for a short time, while supplies last.
This summer, there will also be new food and goods for sale:
Along with the drinks, there will also be a new Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop on the summer menu. The cake pop is made of strawberry cream cake mixed with buttercream, dipped in chocolate icing, and topped with a summer strawberry design.

Starbucks is also working with Farm Rio to bring customers a “exciting collection of drinkware” that looks like the bright colors and prints of the well-known Brazilian fashion brand. The collaboration is only available for a short time, while supplies last. It includes cold cups, key chains, and other items.
Starbucks tells its workers that they need to wear new clothes:

Starbucks also said this week that it is changing its dress code to limit the number of colors that employees can wear. This is part of an effort to improve the look of its green aprons.
The coffee chain said on Monday that starting on May 12, all baristas must wear a solid black top, like a crewneck, collared, or button-up shirt. Their bottoms, on the other hand, must be black, khaki, or blue denim. The chain said that as the “more defined color palette” is released, it will also give employees two free black T-shirts.
Starbucks said in a news release, “We’re changing the dress code in all of our stores to focus on simpler color choices that let our famous green apron shine and make customers feel at home, no matter which store they visit in North America.”
