Iran Attack on Israel Turns Deadly:
Early Monday, Iran launched a fresh round of missile strikes on Israel, setting off air raid sirens all throughout the nation as emergency services recorded at least five dead and hundreds more injured in the fourth day of open combat between the regional rivals showing no signs of abating.
One rocket landed close to the American consulate in Tel Aviv, and U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee reported on X that its concussion caused little damage.
There were no injuries to American servicemen.
Iran stated it has launched approximately 100 missiles and pledged additional revenge for Israel’s comprehensive attacks on its military and nuclear infrastructure, which have killed at least 224 people in the country since last Friday.

The bombings upped Israel’s total death toll to at least 19, and in response the Israeli military said fighter planes had targeted 10 command centers in Tehran belonging to Iran’s Quds Force, an elite component of its Revolutionary Guard that conducts military and intelligence operations outside Iran.
Powerful explosions, possibly from Israel’s defense systems intercepting Iranian missiles, rocked Tel Aviv shortly before dawn on Monday, sending plumes of black smoke into the sky over the coastal city.
The Israeli Magen David Adom rescue agency stated that two women and two men — all in their 70s — and one other person were killed in the round of missile attacks that struck four sites in central Israel.
“We clearly see that our civilians are being targeted,” said Israeli police spokesman Dean Elsdunne outside the bombed-out building in Petah Tikva.
“And this is just one scene. We have more locations like these near the ocean, in the south.”
Petah Tikva resident Yoram Suki ran with his family to a shelter after hearing an air raid alert, and emerged when it was finished to discover his flat demolished.
The sixty-year-old said, “Thank God we were okay.”
He lost his house, but he urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to keep attacking Iran.
“It’s totally worth it,” he remarked. “This is for the sake of our children and grandchildren.”
Apart from the fatalities, the MDA reported that paramedics had transported another 87 injured persons to hospitals, including a 30-year-old woman in critical condition, while rescuers were still looking for residents buried under their houses.
“We saw great destruction when we arrived at the scene of the rocket strike,” said paramedic Dr. Gal Rosen of MDA, who claimed to have saved a 4-day-old infant as flames tore over the structure.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned during a previous bombardment of Iranian missiles on central Israel on Sunday that Iran will stop its strikes should Israel do the same.

Following a day of intense Israeli aerial strikes spanning targets outside military installations to hit oil refineries and government buildings, the Revolutionary Guard adopted a strict posture on Monday, pledging that next rounds of strikes would be “more forceful, severe, precise and destructive than previous ones.”
Without separating military officials from civilians, health authorities also recorded that 1,277 persons were injured in Iran.
Rights organizations, such as Human Rights Activists, a Washington-based Iranian advocacy group, have claimed that the death figure of the Iranian government is a notable undercount.
Human rights activists claim to have recorded about 400 persons dead, including 197 civilians.
Israel contends that in order to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, its attack on key military officials of Iran, uranium enrichment facilities, and nuclear scientists was required.
Iran has always maintained that its nuclear program is peaceful; the U.S. and others have found Tehran not to have pursued a nuclear weapon since 2003.
Iran was thought to have the ability to create many weapons within months should it so want to, but it has enhanced ever-larger stockpiles of uranium to almost weapon-grade levels in recent years.
