Elon Musk Trump Feud Escalates Publicly as Trump Expresses ‘Deep Disappointment

In July of last year, following the failed assassination attempt in Pennsylvania, Musk gave his support to President Trump, and it is said that the CEO of Tesla contributed $250 million to the effort to convince him to run for reelection.

Musk disputed that he had seen a copy of the budget plan in a series of postings on X that he made following the news conference that took place on Thursday. He also republished earlier tweets from Trump, in which the president spoke about the need for a balanced budget.

According to the most recent estimate made by the Congressional Budget Office, which is a nonpartisan organization, the budget bill will result in a rise of $2.4 trillion in the national debt of the United States over a period of ten years and will leave roughly 11 million people without health insurance that is supported by the government. Presumably, he’ll go back to concentrating on his extensive number of businesses, Tesla and SpaceX top among them, and cut back on political time. In May, Musk also declared he would have “a lot less” political expenditure going forward. Although it is still unknown how influential he can be, his remarks on Tuesday at least suggest that he is not completely finished with politics.
